Curacao Clear Kayak Photoshoot + FREE Videoshoot,Cocktails,Shots!

The unusual part is simple: you pose in a transparent kayak while a drone photographs you from above. Dushi Views keeps the session private, and staff members such as Javier, Frank, and John guide your poses, steady the kayak, and help you feel comfortable in the water.

I like the fast next-day delivery and the fact that you receive more than a handful of pictures, with 40-plus photos and videos included. I also like the small celebration package: two cocktails, one rum or tequila shot, bottled water, and a fruit plate.

The main caution is the short 30-minute session. It works well as a focused photo stop, but it is not a kayaking excursion or a full beach day. Weather can also affect the schedule, and private transportation is not included in the stated package.

Key points to know before you book

• Private session: Only your own group participates, so you do not pose alongside strangers.
• Drone photography and video: The package includes 40-plus photos and videos, three free pictures, and one edited video.
• Drinks and fruit: You receive two cocktails, one rum or tequila shot, bottled water, and a complimentary fruit plate.
• Short, pose-focused visit: The advertised duration is about 30 minutes, though the preparation and photography process may take longer.
• Practical limit: Each person must weigh 250 pounds or less.
• Meeting point: The session begins and ends at 18 Canoaweg in Sint Michiel, Curaçao.

A clear kayak made for memorable pictures

This is not a standard kayak tour. You are not paddling along the coast for an hour or stopping to search for marine life. The kayak is the photo prop, the water is the setting, and the drone supplies the unusual angle.

That distinction matters when you decide if the $175 price makes sense. You are paying for a private photography session, staff direction, drone work, editing, drinks, and quick delivery. You are not paying for a long water activity.

The clear boat gives the pictures their central appeal. From above, the kayak creates a clean shape against Curaçao’s blue water. The team can photograph you seated in the boat, reclining into a pose, or working through several planned positions. The exact pose options depend on your group and the time available, but one person reported being guided through as many as four poses.

I especially like that the staff does not simply hand you a kayak and tell you to pose. The photographers give instructions on how to enter, where to place your body, and how to hold a position. That help is useful because a wet kayak can be slippery, and an awkward pose can show quickly in a photograph.

What happens at 18 Canoaweg

You meet at Dushi Views at 18 Canoaweg in Sint Michiel. The activity ends at the same point. The location is near public transportation, but private transportation is not included in the listed package, so you should confirm the pickup arrangements directly before booking if you need a ride from your hotel.

Some feedback describes shuttle service, while the formal inclusions exclude private transportation. That is worth clearing up in advance rather than assuming a hotel transfer comes with the $175 price.

Arrive at least 15 minutes early. The session is short, and you will get more from it if you are ready to begin instead of using the first few minutes to find the meeting point or organize your belongings.

The team prepares the kayak and explains how to get in safely. An assistant may hold the boat while you enter and pose. This is one of the most useful parts of the setup, especially if you do not swim confidently. Staff members have been praised for staying close, giving clear instructions, and helping people feel secure.

The experience is private, which makes a difference for birthdays, couples, engagement pictures, and solo trips. You do not have to perform for another group or wait for other participants to finish. A solo visitor can still have the full guided session, and couples can use the time for coordinated poses.

The 30-minute photo session

Once you are in position, the photographer directs the shoot. You may be asked to adjust your arms, shoulders, legs, or facial expression. This might sound minor, but good direction is what turns a quick snapshot into something you are more likely to frame or share.

Javier is often praised for his friendly manner and care during the shoot. Frank has also been singled out for guiding people through the process and making sure they did not fall out of the boat. John is described as particularly good at directing poses. The staff names may vary on the day, but the important point is that this is a guided shoot, not a self-service photo rental.

The drone photographer works from above and captures several angles. You should expect a mix of closer images and some wider shots. That variety can be useful, since a close frame shows your expression while a wider image gives more attention to the kayak and water.

One practical point is to think about your preferences before you start. If you have flowers, fruit, or another decoration in the kayak, decide if you want them in every pose. One person was unhappy after using flowers for only some of the poses and later wishing they had kept them throughout. The staff may suggest variety, but you can still state clearly what matters most to you.

The session can sometimes run beyond the advertised 30 minutes because the team is thorough with positioning and photography. Do not schedule a tight airport transfer or another fixed activity immediately afterward. The listed duration is approximate, not a guarantee that you will be walking away exactly half an hour after arrival.

Cocktails, rum, and the fruit plate

The included drinks add a festive touch. You receive two cocktails and one free shot of rum or tequila, along with bottled water. This fits the occasion well if you are marking a birthday, engagement, anniversary, or first trip to Curaçao.

The drinks are part of the value, but I would not treat them as the main reason to book. The real product is the photography. The cocktails make the wait and the post-shoot moment more enjoyable, but they do not turn the activity into a beach club visit.

A complimentary tropical fruit plate is also included. Flowers or additional decorations can be used to dress the kayak, and the activity information notes that fruit or flowers may be added to decorate it. Confirm exactly what you want included when you arrange your booking, especially if the decoration is important to the final images.

Some people have also enjoyed hookah service or extra photo opportunities around the property, but those details are not part of the core inclusions listed here. Ask about any add-ons before assuming they are included in the $175 price.

Receiving 40-plus photos and videos

The stated package includes drone photography, drone video, 40-plus photos and videos, three free pictures, and one video edit. The edited selections are delivered the next day, which is unusually useful during a short island stay.

Fast delivery means you can use the images while you are still in Curaçao. You might share them during the rest of your holiday, use them for a birthday post, or send them to family before flying home.

The wording about the media deserves a close look. You receive 40-plus photos and videos, but only three free pictures and one edited video are specifically identified. That suggests the larger set may include the unedited or standard files, while the three pictures and one video receive the additional edit. Ask the operator how the files are separated and how many final edited images are included.

The team uses WhatsApp for updates about edits at +599 952 26147. Keep that contact available if you want to ask about the delivery or check on the edited files. Since the exact editing choices matter, it is sensible to clarify how selections are made during or after the shoot.

Is $175 a fair price?

At $175 per person, this is not a budget activity. The price is easier to justify for a private couple’s session, a birthday, an engagement, or a solo trip where professional pictures are a central part of the holiday.

You receive several services at once:

• A private session for your group
• A clear kayak and an assistant
• Pose direction
• Drone photos and video
• More than 40 delivered photos and videos
• Three free pictures and one edited video
• Next-day delivery
• Two cocktails, one shot, water, and fruit

If you only want a quick picture in a kayak, the cost may feel high. If you want a planned set of images with a drone, staff direction, and quick delivery, the price has a stronger case.

The private format also adds value. A shared group tour might cost less, but it would not give your group the same control over poses and timing. You are paying for attention as much as for the kayak.

I would compare the price with the value of hiring a photographer separately. A standard photographer may not provide a drone, kayak, drinks, and next-day delivery in one short appointment. On the other hand, you should not expect a long photo session or a full set of heavily edited images for every frame.

Who will enjoy this most

This suits you if you want polished vacation images without spending half a day on a photo shoot. Couples can create engagement or anniversary pictures, solo visitors can mark a major trip, and birthday groups can add a playful celebration to their itinerary.

It is also a good fit if you feel uncertain about posing. The staff gives direct instructions and adjusts the setup. You do not need to arrive with a professional model’s experience.

Non-swimmers may still participate, but the activity is taken at your own risk. Staff members help with the boat and provide guidance, yet the operator does not accept responsibility for incidents or damage during the excursion. Read that condition carefully and tell the team about any concern before entering the kayak.

The 250-pound per-person limit is firm and important. Check this before booking rather than waiting until arrival.

This is less suitable if you want active kayaking, snorkeling, wildlife viewing, or a long stay on the water. It is also a poor choice if you dislike posed pictures, wet surfaces, or the possibility of a weather delay.

Weather, timing, and practical planning

Good weather is required. If poor weather cancels the activity, you can receive a different date or a full refund. Since drone work depends on safe and suitable conditions, do not treat a weather cancellation as unusual or as a sign that the activity is poorly organized.

The cancellation policy allows a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start time. Cancellations within 24 hours are not refunded, and changes during that period are not accepted. Cut-off times follow Curaçao local time.

Wear something that allows you to sit and pose comfortably. The supplied information does not specify a required dress code, so choose clothing based on the kind of pictures you want and the fact that you may get wet. If you have a specific outfit, hairstyle, flower arrangement, or prop in mind, tell the staff early.

Bring your booking confirmation and arrive early. The session may begin promptly, and the team needs time to prepare the kayak and explain the entry. Bottled water is included, so you do not need to buy a drink simply for hydration.

If you want to take extra pictures with your own phone, ask the staff if there is time. One person received additional shots around the water and swings, but these extra pictures should be treated as a courtesy rather than a guaranteed inclusion.

Should you book Dushi Views?

Book this if you want a short, private, highly visual Curaçao experience and you care about receiving your pictures quickly. The strongest reasons are the drone angle, patient pose direction, private setting, included drinks, and next-day delivery.

Before paying, confirm transportation, decoration choices, the exact number of edited files, and how you will select your three free pictures. Arrive 15 minutes early, keep your schedule flexible, and tell the photographer if you want flowers in every pose.

Skip it if $175 feels too high for 30 minutes, or if you are really looking for a kayaking trip rather than a photography session. For a birthday, proposal-related trip, engagement, or solo milestone, though, this can be a smart way to turn a brief stop in Sint Michiel into a set of images you will actually keep.
